Iyengar® Yoga Workshop with Stefano Bendandi
You are invited to the workshop in Bucharest! Will be taught by Stefano Bendandi.
Stefano practice Yoga according to the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar from 20 years and have obtained the Intermediate Junior II certificate.
Saturday, 9th of November
1st part: Standing postures, also known as Utthita Sthiti in Sanskrit, are considered the foundation of Yoga practice
2nd part: Forward bend, the quality of the straight legs in Yoga practitioners.
Sunday, 10th of November
3rd part: Inversions, the body is upside down defying gravity. Shirshasana and Sarvangasana, these are considered the king and queen of all asanas.
4th part: Back Bend, are the ultimate opportunity to experience yoga in its fullest expression—as a practice that works and trains body, mind, and spirit in nearly equal measures
Teacher: Stefano Bendandi
Stefano has been practicing IYENGAR® Yoga for about twenty years. Originally from Romagna, Stefano trained at the Iyengar® Yoga School in Ravenna under the guidance of senior teacher Emilia Pagani.
Stefano started teaching in 2007, obtaining IYENGAR® Yoga teacher certification in 2012. The same year he founded in India the "Gokarna Yoga School" which he still runs.
Stefano has developed his practice for several months of study each year at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune and the institutes of IYENGAR® Yoga in Mumbai, under the guidance of senior Indian teachers. In November 2018 he obtained the Intermediate Junior II certificate.
Today Stefano continues to follow refresher sessions with senior teachers David Meloni and Emilia Pagani. Stefano regularly teaches in Gokarna (India) and in Genoa, as well as holding seminars in Italy and abroad.
His motto: Yoga is dedication, precision and energy, but above all passion.
The workshop is taught in English. Better bring all necessary for taking notes when demanded by trainers. Video is not allowed: Only in very specific moments of the education under trainer acceptance and supervision.
For logistic reasons, some modifications may appear in the program of the course. These will be announced in due time for a better organization of the course.
