This course is designed to improve back bends in students with an average experience in the practice of yoga. Variations of Pincha Mayurasana, Ustrasana, Viparita Dandasana, Urdhva Danurasana, Chatushpadasana and many more will be practiced with wooden blocks, belts and on the wall.
Workshop consists in 2 asana practices, teaching and methodology skills and an introduction to the anatomy and physiology principles applied.
At the end of the training day students will learn a full protocol that can be developed in different moments of the season. They will learn variations of difficulty and intensity and will have clear guidelines to improve their own back bending self-practice.
This course is registered in Yoga Alliance and is valid for 8 Contacts Hours needed to renew Yoga Alliance instructor registered certifications.

Additional information
A minimum level of practice is required. Students should be able to perform basic variations of Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Ustrasana, Urdhva Dhanurasana and be able to execute Sirsasana to the wall.
Workshop needs to be carried out with 1 whole blanket, 2 wooden blocks and 2 belts per person. Due to the high number of attendees, students are kindly request to check with the organizer the availability of equipment. If possible, students are invited to bring their own equipment.

High Degree in Physical Education and Sport Sciences, and Physiotherapist; he is creator of successful fitness exercises programs, Yoga practitioner for more than 10 years, he also shares his Yoga asana practice in international events in all the world.
Today Julio dedicates his personal practice to Yoga, functional training and even competes in Karate time to time, while big part of his Dharma is make his work the best he can. He believes to have been gifted being a sport teacher, and he commit himself to the promotion of physical activity as a never ending source of health.
