METABOLIC CONDITIONING Workshop
This workshop is created for fitness instructors, personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches and of course amateur/professional athletes or simply those who want to achieve their goals and maximize their performance through an efficient use of the body's resources.
The human body is like a machine that has at its disposal different energy systems that are activated more or less during a specific physical effort. Knowing the specific characteristics of each system (ATP-CP, glycolytic, oxidative), helps personal trainers to select the correct exercises and build a training plan specific to the client's goal.
A sprinter will rely largely on an anaerobic energy system while an endurance cyclist will be aided by an aerobic mechanism. That's why we need to master the differences and know how to optimize each individual resource.
WILL YOU LEARN
• the role of the energy systems in achieving goals and enhancing performance;
• the differences between aerobic and anaerobic mechanisms during physical effort;
• the methods of identifying maximum heart rate and training zones;
• designing a training plan for each metabolic path.
