Yoga Philosophy and Ethics: Online Basic Course with Julio Dieguez Papi

Course taught on Zoom online: 10 Lectures introducing the basics of philosophy and ethics of Yoga. From the Vedas and Upanishads, the sacred scriptures of the Hinduism, to the ethical precepts that govern the yogic system. Yoga, Hatha Yoga, yogic lineages are other subjects that complete the information given in this course. The goal is to share a basic knowledge of what is behind the practice of Asana; an understanding that may help and guide yoga practitioners and yoga teachers in their daily practice and sadhana.
Teacher: Julio Dieguez Papi has a BSc in Sport Sciences and a BSc in Physiotherapy, he has been a World acclaimed fitness sport professional for over two decades. He is Certified Iyengar® Yoga Teacher (CIYT) from the Ramamami Iyengar Yoga Memorial Institute in Pune, India. He shares his Yoga practice in international events in all world. He is reputed to be one the most influential Yoga teachers in Romania in the past decade.
Today Julio dedicates his personal practice and presentations to Yoga, and devotes the practice to the Iyengar® Yoga method; he believes that big part of his Dharma (duty), is to make his work the best he can. He believes to have been gifted being first a sport teacher and a Yoga teacher today, and he commits himself to the promotion of physical activity and Yoga as a never ending source of happiness and health.

ZOOM Online: Classes online on Zoom platform. It is only needed to have a computer connected to the internet and a proper space and minimum equipment to practice. Link of each session will be sent by email during the 60 minutes before each start. It is enough to click on the link to get into the class online. No need to download Zoom application. Classes can be recorded. If you don’t want to be recorded, please, switch off your camera.
Accessories - Very important: We recommend to have notebook to take notes. You may want to take screen shots of the power points and screens shared during the course. No support material is given a part the lectures on line.
Certificate: The course issues a 20-hours certification diploma on “Yoga Philosophy and Ethics: Online Basic Course.”
