AQUA PROPS WORKSHOP
Barbara created this workshop with multiple goals to support fitness instructors , aquagym instructors and personal trainers. There will be a lot practice parts and will be asked to create and teach exercises.
The main objectives are: to learn the use of the props in water training (dumbbells, nooddles), to increase the intensity of the exercises (from bodyweight training to props workout), to design different workouts thinking about the goals of clients, to design different workouts thinking about the characteristics and requirements of clients, to learn BASIC movements with props for upper and lower body, to learn Advanced movements with props for upper and lower body, how to train abs with water props.
Fitness Instructors will learn a different way to think about fitness lessons.
Aquagym Instructors can get to know more exercises and they will practice a lot of different workouts.
Personal Trainers can get to know: a different way to train their clients, to motivate them, a perfect training for people with joint pain, a good training for beginner clients
In order to be certified by Move On as Aqua Fitness Instructor, participants need to attend all 3 modules (Aqua Basics, Aqua Props, Class Design), but each one of them can be attended as individual workshop, as personal development.

- Differences between training with props in the water and training out of the water
- Different uses of a props: to help the exercise or to create more intensity
- Adaptation of exercises with props in different water depths
- BASIC movements with props for upper and power body
- Advanced movements with props for upper and power body
- How to train abs with water props

TRAINER: BARBARA MARTELLI
With 10 years previous experience as a swimming instructor and 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Barbara is Master Trainer of Aquagym and Xtempo Training System for Cruisin Fitness. She also has leadership qualities as a Fitness Manager and Personal training manager (team of 9 personal trainer).
Barbara is coach for World Champion swimmer but she still loves to be Yoga Instructor, Fitness instructor and Personal trainer. She like to transmit to her participants her knowledge and passion for working in the aquatic environment.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The workshop is taught in English. Bring towels and drinks for avoiding dishidratation during all day practice. Students will be provided with manuals in electronic format, via email. Better bring all necessary for taking notes when demanded by trainers. Video is not allowed: Only in very specific moments of the education under trainer acceptance and supervision.
