IYENGAR® Yoga workshop with Julio Dieguez Papi
Course Live and also on Zoom online: Two days in which Julio and very often also Anya, share their practice with all participants. Julio and Anya practice and study the deepest alignment-oriented Yoga style for the last 10 years and strongly promote it in Romania. Therefore, all asana practices in the program follow what they have learned from this practice in India and many other countries, especially in Europe and the USA. The purpose of the workshop is to share a self-practice, carried out with dedication and love, in the belief that it will be beneficial for all students participating in these courses.
This Yoga tradition was brought to mankind by BKS Iyengar; the highest example of dedication in the practice of Asana that brought a deeper understanding of the Science of Yoga described by Patanjali. The main intention behind this workshop is to contribute to the development of BKS Iyengar practice in Romania as well. Julio and Anya regularly bring Iyengar certified yoga teachers (CIYT) to Romania, thus helping yoga instructors in the country to develop. Both Julio and Anya are CIYT certified as well.
Different Asana are practiced in each yoga session. You will find 4 different asana practices for practitioners of all levels, focused on beginner-intermediate level. Classes last 2 to 3 hours depending on the subject. The topic may vary depending on the intention and approach of teachers.
Morning class starts at 9'00 (normally 3-hours practice)
Afternoon class starts at 14’00 (normally 2-hours practice)

ZOOM Online option: Due to COVID situation restrictions we have 10 Spots available in the Yoga Room. First 10 people registered that want to get into the room will have their place reserved. Rest of attendees can follow the classes online on Zoom platform. It is only needed to have a computer connected to the internet and a proper space and minimum equipment to practice. Link of each session will be sent by email 15 minutes before each start. It is enough to click on the link to get into the class online. No need to download Zoom application.
Accessories - Very important: We will provide for practice a blanket, 2 wooden blocks and a belt per person. Each participant must bring their own support (suitable for the supine position, for example, Supta Badhakonasana) and a blanket. If there is no support, several blankets can be used, depending on your condition. Polyester, acrylic or towel blankets are not suitable for practice. You may want to bring your bolsters if you have.
Clothing: Men should practice in shorts and a short-sleeved T-shirt. Women can practice better with shorts or leggings made of cotton or other natural fabric and a short-sleeved T-shirt.
Health status: If you have a certain health condition, including the menstrual period, please inform the teachers before the course.
Certificate: The course does not issue a certification diploma. You will receive a participation diploma from the Move On school with the number of practice hours.
Clothes: Men should practice in shorts with t-shirts having arms skin on view. Women can practice with shorts or with leggings better in cotton or natural tissue, with t-shirts having arms skin on view.
Health condition: If you have some health condition, including menstrual period, please inform the teachers prior to the class.
The workshop is taught in English. Better bring all necessary for taking notes when demanded by trainers. Video is not allowed: Only in very specific moments of the education under trainer acceptance and supervision.
